Back in my Sprint Canada days as a telemarketer (I did that horrible job for five looooooong years) I used to work with some old dude that never seemed stressed by anything.

Nothing seemed to phase this guy, and I mean we were faced with constant pressures; different metrics like sales per hour, right party contacts, conversion rate, etc. It just never stopped, and on top of that you were constantly compared to others to keep the pressure on and that incentive to sell up. And of course, there was the commission. Through it all, this guy was cool as a cucumber.

So anyways, one day, he told me his secret:

"I don't worry about the things I can't change."

Now, that's brilliant.
